Some of the factors we consider are:</font></p><ul><li><font face="Franklin Gothic Book" size="2"><u>Problem Addressed.</u> The company's product or service must address a meaningful problem faced by customers. </font></li><li><font face="Franklin Gothic Book" size="2"><u>Value Proposition.</u> The product or service must have clear and material advantages (e.g., cheaper, faster, more convenient) over existing solutions. </font></li><li><font face="Franklin Gothic Book" size="2"><u>Market Size.</u> The total addressable market for the product or solution must exceed $500 Million per year. </font></li><li><font face="Franklin Gothic Book" size="2"><u>Barriers to Entry.</u> There must be substantial barriers which prevent others from duplicating the product or entering the market. </font></li><li><font face="Franklin Gothic Book" size="2"><u>Management Team.</u> The company's management team must have a track record of success or have demonstrated potential for success.</font></li></ul><p><font face="Franklin Gothic Book" size="2">Hillcrest Venture Partners will make an initial investment between $25,000 to $100,000 in a company and will make a maximum investment of $150,000 over the life of a company.</font></p><p><font face="Franklin Gothic Book" size="2"><b>Focused Assistance</b><br>With its diversely skilled management team, Hillcrest Venture Partners assists its portfolio companies with numerous aspects of business. By doing so, we insure that a portfolio company receives the optimal value from our team.
