<p>In a sea of mass produced trends, a beacon of light flashed from Los Angeles, guided by an entrepreneur and his community of artists and visionaries who rose up against mass production, planned obsolescence and big corporate agendas. They set out to revolutionize consumption with a platform where anyone can design their own clothes, share their legacy through fabric, and know it’s handmade quality.<br><br>Founded in 2008, Apliiq collects rare, deadstock and recognizable textiles, and applies them to everyday products. Each item is handmade to order within a week at the downtown Los Angeles Workshop.</p>
