Job Description
NBCUniversal's Enterprise Product Team builds products that provide essential capabilities to organizations throughout NBCUniversal. The team leverages deep relationships with our business engagement and engineering counterparts to build cohesive, end to end solutions for their clients or users. The product portfolio is aligned around critical NBCU functions such as Content/Title Management, Data & Analytics, Scheduling & Distribution, and Content Finance.
As a part of the Product team, you will be responsible for one or more products in your department. You will be in constant communications with clients on anything product related, including development progress, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Develop functional expertise in your product, its use cases, integrations, and how it supports the business as it exists today, and as it changes.
  • Create and manage a product backlog for media and streaming finance products, supporting advertising sales billing for linear and digital, and program finance for payables.
  • Understand and document dependenciesbetween stories that are being written
  • Manage feature roadmap, and prioritization of capabilities and features of a product
  • Engage across functions with multiple stakeholders, translate requirements into well documented product features and stories.
  • Facilitate grooming sessions to maintain a consistently up-to-date backlog of clearly defined features/stories
  • Fully document product features and capabilities in JIRA, ensuring all stories have acceptance criteria that is clear and can be measured
  • Collaborate across teams and with architecture and solutions leaders, to identify the best technical solution for a feature or capability that meets the needs of the clients


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related field of study.
  • Experience working with development and engineering teams and products launches
  • Experience using Jira or a similar system to track and maintain feature requirements and development progress
  • 2 Years experience working in technology division of Fortune 500 Organization.
  • Expertise in the SDLC process (Agile), with a focus on scoping, iteration planning, user story and acceptance criteria writing, and rollout management
  • 1+ years of professional experience gathering client requirements, writing product and/or technical specifications



  • Supporting a finance or controllership group.
  • Experience in Media Industry or experience with supporting financial systems .
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems a plus
  • Experience with managing the building of new integrations a plus
  • Past work experience within a fortune 500 company.


This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee's residence.
