We set new standards with our game-changing product and are a driving force within pop-culture. We are looking for a Manager of Packaging Concept and Development to join us in advancing the industry forward. 

 

Summary:

The Manager of Packaging Concept and Development is responsible for leading the end-to-end packaging design and development process, ensuring innovative, high-quality, and sustainable solutions that align with brand vision and business objectives. This role combines creative leadership with strategic thinking, requiring deep expertise in packaging design, material innovation, and production processes. The Manager will oversee the development of impactful packaging concepts, guide cross-functional collaboration, and drive operational excellence to deliver best-in-class packaging solutions.

Responsibilities:

Packaging Strategy & Innovation:

Lead the development of forward-thinking packaging strategies that reflect the brand's aesthetic, values, and commitment to sustainability.

Oversee the ideation and execution of packaging concepts, ensuring they align with brand guidelines, consumer expectations, and market trends.

Identify and implement innovative materials, designs, and technologies to elevate the packaging experience.

Stay informed of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging innovations to keep the brand ahead of the curve.

Design Leadership & Development:

Manage the packaging design process from concept to final execution, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

Provide creative direction and mentorship to the packaging team to produce high-impact and functional designs.

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to ensure seamless integration of packaging initiatives.

Prepare and present high-level design concepts, prototypes, and packaging strategies to leadership and key stakeholders.

Material Sourcing & Production Oversight:

Partner with vendors and manufacturers to source premium, cost-effective, and sustainable materials.

Negotiate and manage vendor relationships, ensuring consistent quality and timely production.

Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical specifications, packaging standards, and quality control processes.

Troubleshoot production challenges, ensuring efficient resolution and adherence to brand standards.

Sustainability & Compliance:

Drive sustainability initiatives, prioritizing eco-friendly materials and reducing environmental impact.

Ensure packaging complies with regulatory requirements and brand-specific guidelines.

Continuously evaluate and optimize packaging solutions for functionality, cost efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

Project Management & Team Leadership:

Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within budget and timeline.

Establish and track KPIs to measure project success and identify opportunities for improvement.

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in packaging design and development, preferably in the fashion or consumer goods industry.

Strong expertise in materials, production processes, and sustainability best practices.

Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with 3D modeling and prototyping tools.

Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
