Your Role:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Exterior Designer to join our design team. In this position, you will contribute to the design and development of exterior vehicle aesthetics and functionality for the FF and FX brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the conceptualization and development of exterior vehicle designs, including body shape, forms, and graphics.
  • Develops feasible Exterior design proposals from sketch into 3D.
  • Conduct research on automotive trends, materials, and technologies to inform design decisions.
  • Produces proposals which influence FF/FX Product and Design decision making, reflecting future trend analysis, market and competition analysis.
  • Create presentation materials to effectively communicate design concepts.
  • Support the design team in maintaining design documentation and archives.
  • Supervise clay model development and vehicle prototyping.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Industrial Design or a related field.
  • At least a year experience in similar capacity
  • Experience in sketching and 3D Modeling
  • Knowledge in AI assisted workflows
  • Excellent ability to lead and manage CAD modelers
  • Ability to comprehend automotive experiential technology and its foray into general consumer electronics and lifestyle industry
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite 
  • Knowledge of visualizations software such as Keyshot or Vred
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking - using logic and reason.
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written.
  • Demonstrated conceptual thinking - creative and strategic
  • Workplace integration - joining people, processes or systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Blender, Sub-D or other poly-modeling software

Annual Salary Range:

($75K - $85K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
