As they say: necessity is the mother of invention.

Back in 2011, Bouju CEO David Razavi was Chief Technology Officer of a very successful e-commerce company providing services to various marquee brands.   As CTO, David dealt with a persistent issue that was causing these companies millions of dollars: They were being targeted bythousands of counterfeiters at a time.   Some counterfeiters were selling infringing goods while others were stealing traffic to trick customers into revealing personal or credit card information.   These unauthorized actions were causing the legitimate, high profile brands David worked with to lose customers, money and brand credibility.

David reached out to a few existing companies in the market that claimed to have a software solution to the brand piracy issue.   However, he quickly realized that none of these companies offered an efficient, affordable solution for his customers to protect their IP and shut down infringers.   The power of data analytics wasn’t being tapped, and as a technology expert, David knew that is where the real solutions would lie.   That was the start of Bouju.

Bouju’s comprehensive software-as-a-service draws from the expertise of a collaborative team of legal and marketing professionals and tech wizards, This cross-disciplinary team has created a product that directly meets the needs of brand warriors across departments.   In short, we created the software solution we wished had existed for us.   Today, Bouju is used by some of the most high profile brands in the world, and we are excited to partner with companies around the world to protect their IP – and their customers.
