Yardi launches housing website for hurricane victims
Yardi, a Santa Barbara-based real estate software developer, launched a free website specifically for Houston residents looking for housing after being displaced by Hurricane Harvey. DTS will soon support Alexa
DTS, a Calabasas-based maker of audio technology, announced earlier this week that three new wireless speakers that use its technology will also support Amazon’s Alexa Voice Service. The speakers will also support the company’s own Play-Fi technology. [High-Def Digest]
Acquisitions galore
Velocify, an LA startup that makes sales lead management software, was scooped up by Ellie Mae in a $128 million cash deal last week. Ellie Mae, which makes mortgage origination software, will incorporate Velocify’s software into its core offering. [FinSMEs]
Oomba, an Irvine-based maker of e-sports tournament management software, announced late last week that it has acquired GameWorks. A national network of arcades and restaurants, GameWorks offers Oomba a venue for hosting its own e-sports events. [PR Newswire]
AnyMeeting, an Irvine startup that makes online conferencing and webinar software, was acquired by Mountain View’s Intermedia on Wednesday. Intermedia, which previously licensed Skype for web conferencing, will integrate AnyMeeting into its product portfolio. [CRN]
