We are seeking an experienced Workday Prism Reporting Lead with a strong background in the utilities industry to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the development, deployment, and maintenance of Workday Prism Analytics solutions to support data-driven decision-making within our organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Workday reporting, data modeling, and analytics within the utilities sector, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and optimizing reporting workflows.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Workday Prism & Reporting Development:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Workday Prism Analytics solutions tailored to the needs of the utilities industry.
  • Build custom reports, dashboards, and data models using Workday Prism for HR, finance, payroll, supply chain, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify reporting needs and translate them into scalable Workday Prism solutions.
  • Develop calculated fields, advanced reports, and composite reports to support strategic business decision-making.
  • Ensure Workday Prism Analytics integrates seamlessly with Workday core modules and external data sources.

Data Management & Analytics:

  • Work closely with data engineers and business analysts to design and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and governance processes in Workday Prism.
  • Manage large datasets, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with utilities industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop predictive analytics models to enhance reporting and forecasting capabilities.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with finance, HR, supply chain, operations, and compliance teams to align reporting strategies with business objectives.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless data integration and security compliance.
  • Provide training and support to business users on Workday Prism functionalities and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members on Workday Prism reporting methodologies.

Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Ensure all reporting solutions comply with utility industry regulations, labor laws, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Maintain audit-ready reporting structures to support internal and external compliance reviews.
  • Stay updated on Workday Prism enhancements and industry trends, recommending improvements to optimize reporting processes.

 
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:

  • 5+ years of Workday reporting experience, including at least 3+ years working with Workday Prism Analytics.
  • Strong expertise in Workday Advanced, Composite, Matrix, and BIRT reports.
  • Experience working in the utilities sector (e.g., energy, gas, water, power, renewables) with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data transformation techniques within Workday Prism.
  • Hands-on experience integrating Workday with external data sources using Workday Prism.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), and Workday security frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of business processes in HR, finance, payroll, and supply chain within the utilities industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, stakeholder communication, and project management abilities.

Preferred:

  • Workday Pro Certification in Reporting or Prism Analytics.
  • Experience in Workday Studio, Workday Extend, or Workday Integration tools.
  • Prior experience with financial reporting, asset management, and regulatory compliance in the utilities industry.
  • Familiarity with Workday Adaptive Insights and other forecasting tools.

Rate range - $60-$65
