Who we are...
Studio Technology delivers and maintains technology solutions that support the ongoing and emerging business needs of the various lines of business within the Walt Disney Studios, including Production, Marketing, Theatrical Distribution, Operations, Music, Stage Shows, and In-Home Distribution.
This role is a unique opportunity to work across two very distinct Technical disciplines "Infrastructure and "Product". The successful candidate will work with the Production Technology Architecture team to build an AI-enabled platform to support the Infrastructure Analytics program. During this project, they will gain valuable insight into core products that support filmmaking, talent management, and content protection at the Walt Disney Studios.
Projects Include:
- Supporting AI-enabled infrastructure analytics platform development
- Assisting with data pipeline creation and maintenance
- Collaborating with technical teams on AIOPS enablement programs
- Preparing analysis and documentation for technical leads
- Research current and emerging trends in AI Engineering
You'll be....
- Learning and applying AI/LLM concepts in a production environment
- Assisting product development using AI tools and Python libraries
- Supporting the development of technical documentation
- Working with the Production Technology Architecture team
- Participating in team meetings and project planning
Key Qualifications:
- Strong interest in AI/LLM and emerging technologies
- Software programming skills (python, angular, javascript)
- Understanding of data structures and algorithm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with confidential information with discretion
Bonus Qualifications:
- Coursework in AI, LLM or Machine Learning
- Understanding of Data Engineering concepts (ETL, Data warehousing)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Knowledge of version control (git)
Education:
Currently working toward a Master's with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Program Details:
- Location: Burbank, CA.
- Program Length: May/June - August/September 2025 (12 weeks).
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Eligibility Requirements:
At the time of application:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university , taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization and provide full availability for the entire program duration.
- Must provide your own housing and transportation during the internship.
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
The pay rate for this role in Burbank, CA is $45.00 per hour.
