Chief of Staff

About the role

We are hiring a Chief of Staff (CoS) to be a critical partner, a trusted advisor and help execute on our most important initiatives. In this role, the CoS will participate in Senior Leadership meetings, collaborate closely with C-suite executives, engage with the operating team, and external players to advance the company’s priorities. We expect the CoS to see the impact of their work materialize very quickly. The ideal candidate will have a high EQ, possess excellent analytical skills, have an ability to work effectively across the organization, meet tight deadlines, and exhibit exceptional communication skills and business acumen. 

You will…

• Act as a top-level adviser, part confidant, sounding board, strategic consultant and closer of loose ends
• Utilize instinct by "reading" situations to understand problems, partner with xFN teams to identify solutions and resolve them efficiently
• Provide high-level support in decision-making processes, including synthesizing complex information to prepare briefings, conducting research, developing presentations and making recommendations
• Work across teams to prepare briefings and coordinate research for meetings with partners and key leaders (e.g. identify goals and talking points, provide background on attendees, etc.)
• Work across teams to manage business rhythm for the President and Senior Leadership team (team meetings, operating cadence, prioritizing and delegating work-streams etc.)
• Manage and prioritize the President’s workflow, ensuring optimal time management and focus on strategic priorities
• Prepare and review communications, reports, and presentations for various audiences
• Serve as a role model of the company's values and mission, inspiring and motivating others to achieve their best work

In the role of Chief of Staff, you will report to the President of Crunchyroll. We are considering applicants for the locations of Dallas or Los Angeles (Culver City).

About You

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management or strategic advisory role, preferably within a high-growth or dynamic organization.
