The Vice President, Finance is responsible for leading the Financial Planning and Analysis and Treasury functions for Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. This role is designed for a highly motivated individual who demonstrates a passion for driving results. They will provide hands-on leadership, implementing best practices, business policies, and internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure excellence in all facets of financial operations.
They will be a strategic business partner to the CFO and highly visible thought leader to the entire executive team. They must be a collaborative problem-solver, who not only understands the numbers but also the broader business context around them. To be successful this individual must be able to communicate effectively across multiple teams as well as with members of senior leadership to provide critical information and partnership.
CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with executive leadership to drive business growth and profitability

Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, bridging company strategy to operational tactics and financial outcomes

Provide insights into market trends and internal metrics to support data-driven decision-making.

Drive financial discipline across the organization by working closely with leaders to provide visibility and hold teams accountable

Oversee cash management and banking activities for the company

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving for efficiency and scalability

Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team to foster excellence, accountability, collaboration and transparency

Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including our parent company, financial institutions, and key vendors
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred

10+ years of finance and leadership experience

Restaurant industry experience is highly preferred

Proven track record in financial strategy, planning, and analysis

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The anticipated base salary for this position is $175,000 - $200,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
