About the Role

Tebra is looking for a Technical Project Manager to spearhead the strategic execution of Business Systems projects and initiatives across Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Accounting, and Marketing. In this role, you will foster cross-functional collaboration, optimize CRM, Order-to-Cash, and Finance processes, and drive seamless technical project execution. If you excel at solving complex business challenges, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to shape the future of business systems, we want to hear from you!

Your Area of Focus

  • Strategic Project Execution – Translate business goals into actionable technical requirements, define success metrics, and drive cross-functional execution.
  • Enterprise Systems Project Management – Lead and manage end-to-end Business Systems projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of CRM, Order-to-Cash, and Finance system initiatives. Develop project roadmaps, define milestones, and allocate resources effectively to keep projects on track.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination – Partner with business and technical teams to align priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure seamless collaboration while mitigating risks.
  • Governance & Communication – Lead Steering Committee (SteerCo) updates, executive reporting and presentations, and system demos, ensuring transparency and stakeholder alignment.
  • Release & Change Management – Oversee the end-to-end deployment of Business System changes, implementing best practices for testing, release cycles, and user adoption.
  • Risk & Resource Optimization – Identify risks proactively, optimize resource allocation, and enhance project velocity to meet business expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Serve as the technical leader for Business Systems, engaging with executives, department leads, and technical teams to drive alignment and adoption.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting – Implement financial forecasting, budget management, and resource capacity planning to optimize project costs and ensure efficient resource utilization.

Your Professional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience IT Program Management in a SaaS, technology, or healthcare environment.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce (CRM) and financial systems like NetSuite, with proven experience in implementing and delivering successful system enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of integrations, automation platforms (Workato), and data warehouse (Snowflake) analytics tools (Tableau, or equivalent BI tools).
  • Proven experience in driving large-scale enterprise projects involving cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to translate technical knowledge into non-technical concepts and communicate with the business and executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and optimize workflows.
  • Exceptional communication skills—comfortable leading executive-level discussions, stakeholder meetings, and technical demos.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, release management, and change management best practices.
  • Ability to proactively identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive project success with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project to create Gantt charts and resource capacity plans.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
