JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager will report to the Sr. Director of Tax and Treasury and will interface regularly with the worldwide finance team, outside tax advisors, external auditors, taxing authorities and other functions within Avid. This will be a remote role that will ensure delivery of high-quality tax accounting and reporting as well as optimize the Company's tax profile and liquidity. This position will ensure compliance with tax laws in the various jurisdictions that the Company operates.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Responsible for preparation of the quarterly and annual tax accounting and reporting requirements
  • Responsible for all US and Canadian tax provision preparation and compliance reporting
  • Collaboration with foreign and local finance team members regarding all tax matters
  • Collaboration with worldwide Finance team on tax accounting, reporting, compliance and tax strategies
  • Oversee transfer pricing implications with affiliates; coordinate completion of internal and external transfer pricing analysis as required, etc.
  • Oversee tax audits
  • Oversee implementation of tax strategies and special tax projects
  • Implementation of tax software as part of the overall ERP initiative
  • Assistance with structure compliance resulting from BEPS and ATAD requirements
  • Assistance with Legal Entity Rationalization
  • Assistance with tax due diligence for potential new acquisitions
  • Direct reports include Income Tax Senior Associate
  • Management of outside consultants as required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
  • MS in Taxation
  • 8+ of Tax Experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP reporting/tax accounting & research/international tax issues and opportunities
  • Ability to work hands-on and mentor a team
  • Project management experience with ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills
  • High tech industry experience

US Pay Transparency Range $148,400.00 - $185,500.00
