What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Supply & Demand Planning team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain dynamics. This role requires the ability to work with Oracle Fusion (ERP) to drive demand for parts and ensure accurate production forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning / Master Scheduling: Construct and manage the manufacturing forecast for Unisys ClearPath hardware systems. Chair monthly meetings with Sales Geographies to align on sales forecasts and create the master production schedule.
  • Forecast and Backlog Tracking: Continuously analyze and update the forecast and backlog to ensure alignment.
  • What-If Analysis: Validate unforecasted orders, estimate EOL (End of Life) products, manage part shortages, and identify excess inventory.
  • Introduction of New Parts & Styles: Ensure proper demand is driven for new parts, set up codes accurately, and monitor end-of-life purchases and pricing.
  • Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels to minimize obsolescence. Forecast quarterly ending inventory levels for finance, review excess material for potential financial reserve, and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
  • Vendor Forecasting: Supply forecasts to vendors as needed.
  • License Tracking: Manage receipts, shipments, invoices, and aging of licenses.
  • Miscellaneous Reporting: Assist with additional reporting as required.

Required Skills:

  • Technical: Oracle/Fusion (ERP) systems, Advanced Excel and Spreadsheet Analysis, Data Mining and Predictive Analytics
  • Forecasting: Statistical Forecasting, Scenario Planning, and Risk Management
  • Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4-6 years of demand planning experience.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and solve complex problems.
  • Experience in managing demand planning and inventory forecasting.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Passing of a criminal background check.
  • Local to Irvine, CA.
  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
