Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Structural BIM Specialist to work at our office and projects in Orange, CA.

The job responsibilities will include:

  • Works under direct supervision. 
  • Assists with creating and modifying 3D models, renderings, and/or animations for promotion and proposals. 
  • Office-based work with various departments to integrate imagery into presentations using existing software. 
  • May help to create or maintain standards, processes, and goals. 
  • Work is closely supervised.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • US Citizenship Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fully conversant with the latest REVIT
  • Drafting / Engineering Drafting AND AutoDESK Revit Structural trained 
  • Able to assist in development of Structural design/detailing and coordination of models with other design disciplines.
  • Able to produce construction documents in BIM environments from start to finish with limited assistance from more senior BIM team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, thorough, well organized, and effectively manage time
  • Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively
  • Revit certification
  • AutoCAD experience
  • 1+ years' experience in the field of structural detailing/design with steel, concrete, and masonry buildings.
