The opportunity

The GenStudio design team seeks a Sr Designer to help us harness the power of creation, marketing, and analytics tools through developing new Gen AI powered marketing workflows. As a key member of the team, you’ll help to define an early-stage product and using your design skills to navigate from chaos to clarity. You’ll lead how to bring data into powerful GenAI content creation workflows for marketers.

We are looking for someone with exceptional visual and prototyping skills to work in an agency-style environment—moving fluidly between projects that impact product UX flows, desktop applications, marketing landing pages, interactive demos, and customer concept validations. This role requires a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, agile setting, upleveling design quality across multiple initiatives with creativity, speed, and precision. You’ll collaborate closely with researchers, product teams, and engineers to create visually stunning and user-centric experiences.

In this role, you will

  • Design with impact – Craft high-quality, visually compelling designs for desktop applications, product UX flows, marketing landing pages, interactive demos, and customer concept validations.
  • Prototype & iterate quickly – Build interactive prototypes to communicate ideas effectively, validate concepts with researchers, and refine solutions based on user insights.
  • Move seamlessly across projects – Work in an agency-like fashion, switching between different design challenges while maintaining excellence.
  • Uplevel design quality – Elevate the visual storytelling of Adobe’s digital experiences through refined typography, layout, interaction, and motion design.
  • Collaborate across disciplines – Partner closely with researchers, product designers, marketers, and engineers to test and refine design solutions.
  • Leverage emerging technology – Experiment with Generative AI tools to explore new creative possibilities and enhance workflows.
  • Bring brand and product together – Bridge the gap between brand storytelling and product experience, ensuring consistency across Adobe’s ecosystem.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in visual design, UI design, or product design, ideally in a fast-moving, cross-disciplinary environment.
  • Expert in visual design – Mastery of composition, typography, color, motion, and interaction patterns.
  • Prototyping skills – Experience creating high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or other tools to communicate and validate design concepts.
  • Experience working with researchers – Ability to incorporate user insights into design iterations and collaborate closely with research teams.
  • Knowledge of desktop applications – Experience designing for desktop-based software with complex user interactions.
  • Agency mindset – Ability to juggle multiple projects, shift gears quickly, and adapt to changing priorities without losing design quality.
  • Strong collaboration skills – Experience working across marketing, product, and engineering teams to craft cohesive experiences.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects), and prototyping tools.
  • Bonus: Experience with motion design, 3D, generative AI tools, or front-end design systems.

The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,000 -- $227,500 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
