A key member of the Workforce Solutions & Strategy team, the Sr. Solutions & Strategy Analyst will craft business cases to influence employers to offer workforce education. They will communicate the business cases and our recommended solutions in a compelling way, and lead critical analyses and knowledge management efforts. They will also serve as support to the Solutions & Strategy team overall by representing the team in cross-functional initiatives, designing innovative solutions, and improving team efficiency. 

The role demands a blend of analytical skills, strategic thinking, quantitative reasoning, and a knack for solving ambiguous problems. Impacting both prospective customers and existing customers, this role will have a front-row seat into the workforce education market and the evolving demands of corporations as they tackle talent challenges. 

  • you can break a problem – even an ambiguous problem – into its component parts; you can analyze complex data sets
  • you can draw insights, identifying the “so what” across a large amount of qualitative and quantitative data
  • you write clear, concise, well-structured, documents, memos, emails, and other communications and can flex the communication style (e.g., top-down vs. bottom-up) based on the audience and context
  • you are adept at communicating in slides, whether a structured standalone slide or a full deck with a cohesive story; you are able to develop and deliver a compelling presentation.
  • you can efficiently perform data analysis in spreadsheets (e.g., using pivot tables, data tables, and common formulas); you can create basic quantitative models
  • you partner effectively with others, across lines of difference, to achieve a common goal and prioritize work
  • you want to understand issues deeply; you enjoy acquiring knowledge, learning new skills, and mastering new processes and tools; you are an early adopter of new technologies

  • Your professional journey includes 3 years of experience in management or strategy consulting. You therefore have mastery of foundational skills such as slide creation, data analysis, and basic quantitative modeling
  • : you enjoy tackling open-ended, ambiguous problems and delving into new topics, domains, and techniques
  • : you demonstrate strong verbal and written communication across different audiences; you write clearly, succinctly, and in a structured and compelling manner
  • : you have experiencing working in cross-functional teams, building relationships and influencing peers and more senior colleagues
  • : you get things done, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard; you have a "no job too small" attitude and a “roll up sleeves” mentality
  • : you’re motivated by InStride’s mission to change lives through employer-sponsored education
  • You’re willing to travel as needed (up to 10%)

  • Perform in-depth analyses of employers’ workforce data, and stitch together logical and compelling “data stories” to make the case for a workforce education program
  • Develop business cases for employers to invest in a workforce education program aligned to their business objectives, workforce goals, and budgets
  • Support other team members in translating an employer’s needs into academic offerings, product features, and services that will solve its problems 
  • Serve as an internal expert on InStride’s offerings and lead the Solution & Strategy team’s documentation on InStride’s offerings
  • Create powerful narratives and presentations about our offerings
  • Manage internal knowledge management on market and competitive trends
  • Lead analysis of InStride’s learners and enrollments —  informing solutions design and client strategy sessions, and helping us maximize our impact on learners 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (with sales, customer success, marketing, finance, product, technology, implementation, learner engagement, academic partner success) on special projects
  • Support other team members in client discovery and pitch conversations as needed
  • Design solutions (e.g., Career Education Paths) to meet employer needs
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of team systems, processes and tools

Target base compensation amount for this role outlined below. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts shown below.

$85,000$95,000 USD
