Company Description

The Sr. Manager On Premise Marketing translates and executes the national On Premise Marketing strategy at a region level, leading industry & consumer marketing initiatives while increasing PCC across all region sales/marketing owned or 3rd party events, winning more consumers to the category, ensuring Red Bull's positioning as a premium product in the market, and driving more cans in hands in the On Premise. This role is highly focused on increasing the relevance of Red Bull across all key occasions and segments of the On Premise, then converting that relevance into consumption. The Regional On Premise Marketing leader should have a vision for how the department contributes to consumer pull across Socializing & Party, Work, Study, Fitness, and Gaming – through experiential activations, trade tools, and industry marketing.The position is also responsible to directly manage the On Premise Marketing Mangager(s), train and enable field teams to activate at the highest standard, ensure increased availability / visibility across all segments, and activate Red Bull at the point of sale. The Sr. On Premise Marketing Manager is a key contributor to the annual On Premise and Marketing business plans, by identifying and defining insights which will lead to new, implementable activities, programs, and strategies as well as subsequently developing appropriate tools and tactics.

Job Description

Be an active ambassador for the Red Bull brand in front of the team and the internal and external On Premise Network.

Monitor image standards for alignment with the premium brand values of Red Bull.

Interactions with customers and consumers drive individuals to want to be affiliated with the Red Bull brand.

STRATEGIC PLANNING & LEADERSHIP OF ON PREMISE MARKETING

Shape the strategic direction of the On Premise marketing efforts and influence the strategic direction of the Marketing efforts as a member of both the On Premise and Marketing Leadership teams within the region.

Translate national and regional insights into new actions, activities, programs, and strategies that can be implemented across the On Premise & Marketing mix.

Provide insights, guidance, support, and coaching to internal and external On Premise teams and partners, including Musketeers, RAMs, Distributors, Sales Reps, and Brand Managers, in the implementation of strategic initiatives, tools, and concepts to drive On Premise success.

Lead the allocation of POS tools, monitor their correct placement, and solve for custom POS / trade needs.

CONSUMER MARKETING

Develop new initiatives and translate national and regional campaigns into the On Premise channel across all five key occasions, resulting in highly impactful initiatives designed to win consumers, build consumption habits, and strengthen the Red Bull brand.

Ensure knowledge and high-quality implementation of the right product offer, product experience and trial – lead consumer activation programs driving engagement and volume uplift in the On Premise.

Support the national Sr. On Premise Event Manager to ideate, create, and activate consumer-facing Red Bull events that highlight the intersection of the brand and the product.

Collaborate closely with marketing teams (Brand, Culture, Sports, Red Bull Media Network) to deliver plans that cut-through, solve for consumer needs, and are amplified appropriately with the full marketing mix.

INDUSTRY MARKETING

Develop "only Red Bull can do" initiatives / concepts that increase share of mind and brand love with industry stakeholders including: venue (bar) staff, decision makers, owners and influencers, resulting in increased sales.

Create strategic performance-driving concepts that engage the industry, resulting in higher share of mind and overall sales in accounts and at events.

Enable the field sales team to support / deliver against these initiatives through strong processes, guidance, and tools.

Support the national Sr. On Premise Event Manager to ideate, create, and activate industry-facing Red Bull events that highlight the intersection of the brand and the product.

TRADE MARKETING

Lead the creation, management, and allocation of the POS portfolio.

Develop activation plans & toolkits for selected key customers to drive distribution & volume by ensuring we Look Like #1 & Win vs Competitions in the On Premise Channel.

Represent On Premise Marketing in customer-facing meetings.

FESTIVALS & 3RD PARTY EVENTS

Support the regional event & festival strategy – identify must win festivals and events, and partner with the national On Premise team on approach for each.

Lead the 360 cross functional market planning & execution around key Festivals & Third Party Events with support from the regional marketing, media, and sales teams, in alignment with the Festival & 3rd Party Event Team

Partner with the regional "On Premise Event Manager" to ensure the effective execution of marketing activities and POS activations across Festivals & Third Party Events, maintaining the national strategy and quality control.

Provide support to the On Premise Event Manager(s) in the leadership & execution of 360 campaigns across the region.

Evaluate and assess the performance of the On Premise Event Managers, providing feedback and coaching points to the national Festival & Events team to ensure successful execution of programs and events.

Identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to increase the impact and ROI of events.

LEADING AN EFFECTIVE TEAM

Manage, train and mentor direct report(s), setting clear performance expectations and goals.

Develop a strong network within the company and actively share knowledge, best practices, and information with other teams and departments.

Provide regular and constructive feedback to team members to ensure quality performance and alignment with Red Bull values.

Foster a positive culture by focusing on individual, strengths-based development and creating a culture that rewards effort and execution following Red Bull's values.

Identify and train employees for succession opportunities and provide direct and productive feedback to help maintain quality performance.

Provide strategic leadership and decision making power as a member of the On Premise and Marketing Leadership team within the region.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Marketing with a focus on On Premise, consumers, and industry stakeholders

Proven ability to analyze market trends, make strategic decisions, inspire concepts / plans, and deliver successful executions

Experience leading complex / cross-functional project teams

Experience managing large budgets, mitigating risk, and identifying efficiencies

Firm grasp on marketing communications / storytelling, digital & social content, and traditional / non-traditional brand marketing strategies

Experience managing people and teams

Must have a valid U.S. driver's license

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $115,280 to $179,920 + cash incentives. Range may differ for NYC & SFO Bay Area work locations.

Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
