Company Description

The facilitation and development of the annual brand marketing business planning process and the year-long in store messaging strategy and calendar will be led and facilitated by the Sr. Manager of Brand Planning & Operations. Brand health metrics, household penetration, consumption, and market share will be critically driven and increased with the help of the Sr. Manager. The development of strategic recommendations to support the Brand Leadership team's decision making across cross-functional brand marketing topics will also be the responsibility of the Sr. Manager.

Job Description

BRAND PLANNING

Oversee the brand planning process, integrating strategies and insights from all brand functions into a cohesive, clear, and concise narrative for annual planning deliverables, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall goals.

Offer strategic support to the brand leadership team, facilitating decision-making for annual business planning.

Establish structure and provide guidance to the brand leadership team, setting clear expectations for deliverables and fostering an environment of innovation.

Identify consumer and business opportunities within brand marketing and offer recommendations based on qualitative and quantitative analysis to drive action across all brand pillars.

Manage organizational changes effectively, ensuring the company adapts to new opportunities and challenges

Leverage synthesized market research, consumer insights, brand health metrics, company analytics, and progress reports to drive the development of the annual business plan and mid to long-term strategy

Lead Cross Functional Team meetings across Brand, to align on major business initiatives, in year pivots, and forward-looking go to market strategy

Own brand standards development, documentation and enforcement across Point-of-Sale, Product Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Initiatives, Advertising and Student & Field marketing

Promote continuous improvement in our planning processes and tools, utilizing technology and automation wherever possible.

 

BRAND OPERATIONS & REPORTING

Facilitate strategic decision-making by analyzing key data and presenting insights to leadership for actionable outcomes.

Facilitate business case opportunity process across Brand

Provide regular updates on project status to senior management, identifying risks and proposing solutions when necessary

Develop and own ongoing reporting process to communicate holistic Brand Marketing results, learnings and best practices

Identify opportunities in, and improve upon the Brand team's critical processes, platforms, and ways of working

Deliver ad hoc analysis against tight deadlines as defined by the SVP of Brand

Remain current on consumer, social, industry and business insights and trends that may have an impact on Red Bull's growth

 

STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Oversee and manage annual business planning timelines for the RBNA brand team, ensuring alignment with national, regional, and global stakeholders.

Accountable for successful Region Brand planning process and delivery – ensuring cross functional deliverable timelines are met and local plans deliver on the National Brand Marketing strategy and direction

Develop a comprehensive calendar of key meetings across regional, national, and global teams that ultimately deliver on cross-marketing business objectives

 

POINT OF SALE

Establish the vision and strategy for brand standards in the trade.

Direct the development of a Premium Brand Presence at Retail

Establish Ways of Working between Brand and all cross functional teams in both Santa Monica and the regions to drive more impactful POS

Own the communication of the POS Strategy for Marketing overall, throughout the year and during the Business Planning process

Lead the commercialization of annual calendar through In-Store Messaging by overseeing campaigns and execution of all POS suites at both the national and regional level 

Initiate Point-of-Sale strategic recommendation on an annual cycle across both Brand & Sales; including campaign & tactical efficacy

Deliver commercial results by recommending and guiding implementation of creative infrastructure that leads to increased consumer pull

 

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

Guide and cultivate the growth of direct reports

Provide direct reports with guidance on daily tasks and effective work execution.

Ensure accountability for direct report's deliverables to team and cross-functional partners

Oversee performance management, including providing constructive feedback and conducting written reviews as needed.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry with a focus on Brand Management/Marketing is possessed.

Experience in Business/Management Consulting and/or CPG products is considered a plus.

A strong customer service aptitude with a highly collaborative approach and an ability to work with all levels of the organization from Field Level to Executive Management is demonstrated.

A track record of robust analytical and problem-solving skills is maintained. The ability to interpret sales data, analyze results, and provide actionable recommendations is proven.

Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to present both internally and externally to retailers are possessed.

Technical information is explained in a simple way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $115,280 to $172,920 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
