Description

The Senior Director of Mid Market is a key leadership role responsible for driving the growth and success of the mid-market segment within the organization. This individual will oversee the development and execution of sales strategies, build relationships with key clients, and manage a high-performing team dedicated to serving mid-market clients. The Sr. Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure that the mid-market business is well-positioned for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of sales and account managers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: metric driven approach to pipeline management, with tactical and strategic support for team for managing outbound and inbound pipeline acceleration and optimization
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and go-to-market plans targeting mid-market clients, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key mid-market clients, ensuring their needs are met while delivering value through products and services.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue generation and market share expansion within the mid-market segment by identifying new opportunities, negotiating contracts, and maximizing existing client relationships.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to create tailored solutions for mid-market clients, ensuring their success and long-term satisfaction.
  • Market Insights & Reporting: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions and strategy adjustments. Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the mid-market team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, particularly within the mid-market or similar B2B sales environments with demonstrable metric-driven focus.
  • Strong track record of driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, and leading teams to success.
  • In-depth understanding of the mid-market customer landscape and the ability to tailor sales strategies accordingly.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while also managing day-to-day operations and team dynamics.
  • Experience in working collaboratively with other departments to align business goals and customer needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership or a similar role, with a focus on mid-market sales.

The salary range is between $150,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. Commissions for this position are estimated to be $140,000.00 per year annually and are based on performance.
