Join us in driving innovation and expanding our customer base within the employer segment as a Senior Director of Enterprise Sales. This pivotal role will collaborate with the General Manager to develop and execute growth strategies, aiming to achieve outstanding sales performance and exceed targets within the employer segment. This role demands a deep understanding of complex sales cycles, adeptness in negotiating large deals, and exceptional relationship-building skills to drive new business and maintain long-term relationships with key clients. Reporting to our Chief Sales Officer, this position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization.

What you’ll do:

  • You will have ownership of prospecting and lead generation including identifying, researching, and qualifying potential business through cold calling, networking, and other sales techniques directly to employers.

  • You drive the development of new relationships with potential clients and maintain strong relationships with existing with a focus on understanding their needs and provide tailored solutions.

  • You will be responsible for achieving and/or exceeding sales targets for the enterprise segment.

  • You will Actively engage in customer interactions by preparing and delivering sales presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makers.

  • You will have autonomy to negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close business while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.

  • You will collaborate with key business partners to develop strategic plans and maintain pipeline accuracy, including developing strong internal relationships with supporting teams to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach

  • You will have accountable for pipeline management and forecasting accuracy.

  • You will have a dual focus on originating new customer relationships and executing relationships to maximize revenue generation

  • You will demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Who you are:

  • You are an experienced hunter with a minimum of 8-10+ years of sales experience, with 3-5 years in sales management.

  • You possess experience selling complex deals, preferably experience within the health insurance industry.

  • You have a talent for identifying client needs and proposing customized solutions.

  • You are data driven and enjoy using data to solve problems.

  • You are highly motivated, results-oriented professional with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • You have proven leadership abilities to impact relationship activities with external customers and drive execution with internal resources.

  • You can travel extensively (up to 50%) to customer locations throughout the U.S.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes a monthly commission-based incentive plan, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
