Job Description
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist manages various aspects of the HR function of an Eataly store including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, training, interpretation of policies, performance management, employee relations and terminations. Reports to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).
- Collaborates with the HRBP to deploy a fully integrated People strategy from acquisition to exit
- Executes all aspects of the recruitment process using the Applicant Tracking System: sources candidates; screens and selects candidates for advancement in the hiring process; coordinates interviews; collects feedback; manages candidate experience and follow up
- Organizes in-store hiring events and participates in external job fairs
- Provides training to hiring managers on the Applicant Tracking System and effective interviewing
- Prepares employees for proper cultural assimilation through onboarding and new hire orientation
- Serves as a fairness advocate and manages employee relations issues: conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, hearing and resolving employee grievances; counsels employees and supervisors
- Works with managers to make coaching and development of employees a daily activity
- Collaborates with Corporate to build and implement trainings for employees
- Drives awareness and adoption of broad benefits offerings at Eataly
- Conducts and analyzes exit interviews to identify and recommend improvements to existing processes
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
- Supports the HRBP with metrics and data analysis
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail and/or hospitality
- Understanding of all components of HR including systems, databases and metrics
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Spanish required
- Completely onsite and open availability required
The compensation for this role will be between $75-85,000/yr + bonus.
