Internship Overview

We are looking for interns to join us for our 2025 Summer Internship Program! This 12-week program is set to begin June 2nd, so if you are looking for an incredible opportunity to partner with the best and brightest minds in the industry, apply today. This program has been designed with our interns in mind and includes structured learning plans, a dedicated buddy, and a focused capstone project that you will have the opportunity to present in our Internship Showcase! 

 

What It’s Like Interning with Us!

Social Events— just because the internship is remote, doesn’t mean we don’t have time for fun! Recognizing the international nature of the program, we prioritize fostering global connection and networking opportunities among all the interns who participate. In the past, we have hosted remote events such as tie-dye shirt event, tiny camp fire—complete with smores(!!!), a murder mystery party, and so much more 

Time with Executives— Interns all get a chance to connect with our executive team through panel discussions, 1:1s, Q&A meetings, and events

Workshops & Leader Connects — Interns all participate in Leader Connects where they get to learn more about Leaders in HCLSoftware, as well as workshops geared towards new professionals

Opportunity to travel – we will be hosting a hybrid orientation! For those that are interested in being in person for orientation, we will fly you to your closest resident office. 


Position Overview

Dive into the exciting world of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) this summer and make a real impact on Actian’s digital presence! The SEO intern will conduct a comprehensive SEO audit of the Actian.com website, focusing on increasing keyword rankings and organic traffic for one of our key products, the Zeenea Data Intelligence Platform. The intern will gain hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, BrightEdge), optimize pages of our website, and develop both on-page and off-page strategies throughout the summer. 

 

Capstone Overview

The SEO intern will present a final report comparing baseline and current metrics, summarizing key findings, challenges, and actionable recommendations to enhance organic search performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform audits of the Actian website, specifically around the Zeenea product line 
  • Develop on-page and off-page strategy SEO strategies 
  • Conduct on-page optimizations of key Zeenea pages
  • Measure the impact of your work 
  • Recommend larger site changes for future consideration

Nice to have:

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Computer Science or related field
  • Basic knowledge of SEO fundamentals and principles
  • Familiarity with WordPress or basic web management is a plus
  • Some experience with Google Analytics 
  • Some experience using SEO tools like Semrush, Moz, or Ahrefs 

Requirements:

  • Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the Country of Employment (United States)
