We're Looking For An: SEO Analyst to drive organic and paid search visibility and traffic across our pet care category. The SEO Analyst will optimize website content, execute search engine marketing campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to increase brand awareness and drive conversions. A data-driven approach will be instrumental in achieving top search engine rankings and maximizing return on investment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Reporting, Strategy, and Cross-Department Coordination:
  
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve 95% positive Google search results by the end of the year.
  • Coordinate with various departments to enhance SEO efforts, including Affiliates, PR, Ambassadors, and Reputation teams.
  • Integrate the 10x5 reporting framework with the SGE result tracking system.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly reports on backlink orders and new ranking opportunities.
  • Communicate 20 new ranking opportunities monthly to relevant teams (e.g., new press releases, reviews).
  • Manage Tickets for the SEO JIRA Ticket Queue
• Content Score Monitoring and Optimization:
  • Maintain a reporting system for optimizing pages for ContentScore and ranking data.
  • Prioritize and schedule monthly content updates based on SEO software insights.
  • Measure and report the impact of content updates on a monthly basis.
• Keyword Ranking and Page Optimization:
  
  • Create, optimize, and publish content to achieve top rankings for targeted keywords.
  • Implement on-page optimizations, internal linking strategies, and backlink acquisition.
  • Conduct monthly performance analysis to measure the impact of optimization efforts.

Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):

• 3+ years of experience with SEO or Analytics
• Experience with SEO tools such as AHREFs, SEMRUSH, Screaming Frog
• Experience in data management and analysis (R or SQL preferred)
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills required
• Understanding of project management and ability to collaborate effectively across different functions
• Skilled in tracking and analyzing key performance metrics such as rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Ability to develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies to meet organizational goals
• Proficiency in creating and optimizing content for improved rankings and user engagement.
• Ability to measure and communicate the effectiveness of content optimization efforts.
• Demonstrates initiative in identifying optimization challenges and implementing solutions.
• Expertise in preparing actionable reports that integrate multiple data sources
• Strong collaboration skills
• BA/BS in Marketing / Business or related field preferred

The base salary range is $61,000.00-$81,400.00 plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
The posted salary range in this job posting reflects data based on California's cost of labor analysis. This salary range is subject to change per state; please click here to find the pay differential in your state of residence if the role is remote.
