About the role and why it’s unique:

  • Driving and supporting various audits related to security and IT compliance. Working closely with security and IT teams.
  • Analyze risk and impact to regulatory and security standards in respect to our systems, implementations, processes and third party integrations.
  • Identifies and implements business process improvements by collaborating with various teams.
  • Minimize risk while enabling efficient business operations.
  • Analyze new product features and functionalities that the technical team is planning to implement, then provide feedback related to regulatory requirements for targeted markets.
  • Lead the development of comprehensive guidelines and resource libraries.
  • Interact with regulators and certification labs to present our current technology flows and planned implementations.
  • Help drive and support our release and change management management process.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to define and implement automation strategies for release notes and change management needs.
  • Build and maintain compliant processes and procedures while considering long-term goals and gearing towards future flexibility.
  • Help build a team with strong inclusive culture and creative mindset.

Who you are:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in evaluating and interpreting regulatory requirements, effectively relating them to technical solutions and implementation flows.
  • You have knowledge of IT security compliance and frameworks (PCI-DSS Compliance, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • You have experience with supporting and driving external audits and reporting.
  • You have in depth knowledge of the software development life cycle and release/change management process.
  • You have experience collaborating with and building strong partnerships with the software development team, security and IT teams.
  • You demonstrate strong proficiency in analyzing and assessing risk within software platform implementation, identifying concerns or weak areas in regards to compliance, integrity and security as well as identifying potential solutions to minimize risk.
  • You are an excellent communicator and advisor always striving to promote full visibility internally and externally.
  • You are not afraid to try new approaches and work on unfamiliar areas.
  • You are motivated, curious and possess good self-management skills.

Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $160,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.

  • Unlimited PTO (we're extremely flexible with the exception of the first few weeks before & into the NFL season)
