Join our team to optimize and scale revenue operations at Chromatic. As our first Revenue Operations hire, you’ll play a foundational role in supporting Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing by driving operational efficiency, improving revenue forecasting, and refining processes to fuel growth.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely with the CRO, you’ll provide critical insights, support, and recommendations while taking full ownership of revenue operations. Your work will enhance pipeline visibility, team performance tracking, and go-to-market workflows—ensuring seamless alignment across teams.

This is a fully remote position and the candidate should be located in the Eastern Time Zone within the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

Revenue Forecasting, Compensation, and Territory Management (~40%)

  • Implement and refine processes to enhance pipeline visibility and improve sales forecasting accuracy.

  • Leverage insights from both self-serve and enterprise revenue to refine forecasts and sales strategies.

  • Lead and facilitate forecast calls, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into pipeline health and revenue projections.

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in pipeline tracking, deal stages, and revenue forecasting within the CRM.

  • Manage sales commission structures and ensure accurate compensation calculations.

  • Optimize territory management frameworks to ensure equitable account distribution, maximize revenue potential, and enhance sales coverage.

  • Collaborate with the CRO to refine territory assignments based on market trends, customer segmentation, and sales performance.

Deal Desk and Contract Management (~25%)

  • Review and manage contracts, pricing structures, and deal terms.

  • Support Sales and Customer Success in structuring deals, guiding discounting, approvals, and negotiation processes to optimize deal outcomes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deal desk operations, enhance visibility into approvals, and accelerate contract turnaround times.

Reporting and Insights (~20%)

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports for visibility into key revenue metrics against OKRs across Sales and Customer Success.

  • Analyze data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to leadership.

Process Optimization and Scalability (~15%)

  • Design and implement scalable revenue operations processes that drive growth and efficiency.

  • Continuously assess and refine sales, customer success, and marketing workflows to reduce friction, improve conversion rates, and enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Evaluate and consolidate technology across the GTM team, ensuring the revenue tech stack is streamlined, cost-effective, and fully integrated to support cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a related field, preferably in B2B SaaS or a high-growth environment

  • Strong attention to detail in managing processes, deliverables, and cross-functional dependencies.

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

  • Expertise in HubSpot (Sales and Marketing Hub) or similar CRM, with experience managing and optimizing the revenue tech stack (e.g., marketing automation, sales engagement, BI tools, CPQ, or contract management systems).

  • Proficient in Google Sheets and SQL.

  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports to track sales pipeline, marketing performance, and revenue trends.

  • Experience reviewing commercial contracts and working with legal counsel.

  • Experience collaborating with leadership to develop and refine revenue forecasting models and GTM strategies.

  • Experience partnering with senior marketing leadership to create a seamless and reliable data flow across systems while enhancing marketing automation workflows.

  • A knack for maintaining CRM integrity, including managing company records, contacts, emails, lists, workflows, campaigns, and reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to streamline lead management processes, ensuring smooth integration between CRM systems and other tools for accurate tracking and efficient handoffs.

  • Experience with Metabase or similar data tools.
