What We Are Looking For

AuditBoard is seeking a marketing leader to fill our Sr. Product Marketing Manager position and play a critical role in defining and executing go-to-market strategies for our CrossComply product. This is a high-impact individual contributor role at the senior level, responsible for driving strategic positioning, messaging, and GTM execution for one of our most critical offerings.

As a Sr. PMM, you will serve as the primary business partner to Product, Sales, and Marketing leadership, influencing strategic initiatives that drive market leadership, customer adoption, and revenue growth. You will lead high-visibility projects and partner cross-functionally to ensure we deliver compelling value to the market.

If you are a strategic thinker, expert storyteller, and execution-focused leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex go-to-market challenges, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the go-to-market strategy for AuditBoard’s CrossComply IT Compliance product, aligning with business objectives and revenue targets.

  • Develop and refine category-defining messaging and positioning that differentiates AuditBoard in the market and resonates with key audiences, from CISOs to compliance professionals.

  • Lead product launches and growth initiatives end-to-end, ensuring successful adoption, expansion, and retention.

  • Influence roadmap and strategic decisions by serving as the voice of the customer and market, partnering closely with Product and Engineering.

  • Partner with Sales and Revenue teams to improve win rates through sales enablement programs, deal support, competitive intelligence, and objection handling.

  • Create high-impact marketing content and assets (e.g., executive narratives, thought leadership, competitive positioning, analyst reports, and sales enablement materials) that drive demand and market awareness.

  • Conduct in-depth customer, competitor, and market research, translating insights into actionable strategies.

  • Act as an internal thought leader and evangelist, educating cross-functional teams and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

  • Mentor and guide other PMMs, helping to elevate the overall impact and effectiveness of the product marketing team.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, IT GRC, or B2B SaaS with a track record of owning and driving strategic GTM initiatives for enterprise SaaS products.

  • Prior experience in IT Security, IT compliance, risk management, or regulatory frameworks; direct experience with IT compliance solutions is a major plus, but not a requirement.

  • Experience working in or selling to technology and security teams is highly preferred.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to frame complex challenges and drive alignment across stakeholders.

  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for C-level audiences.

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging market research, competitive insights, and data analytics to inform decision-making.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Executive teams.

  • High degree of ownership, accountability, and autonomy in executing large-scale initiatives.

  • Experience working in high-growth B2B SaaS environments, ideally in a leadership-level IC capacity.

  • Pragmatic Marketing certification(s) or equivalent strategic marketing training is a plus.

Our Company Values

  • Customer Obsession: Apply relentless focus on listening to and understanding customers as the core of everything we do

  • Win, Together: Drive to be the best while supporting each other’s success

  • Gritty Resilience: Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, balancing immediate priorities with big-picture strategic goals

  • Personal Improvement: Stay eager to share insights, seek feedback, and continuously learn

  • Constant Innovation: Challenge the status quo and drive improvements

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
