Senior Payroll Administrator

As the Senior Payroll Administrator, you will support our People Operations team by running all payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and consistency in pay and process. You will support payroll & benefits administration, employee onboarding and ADP experience, and compliance (labor laws and SOX). In this role, you will create SOPs, standardize payroll operations for the team, and recommend changes to HR processes and systems.   

What You'll Do:

• Act as a payroll expert - run all bi-weekly payroll cycles, as well as off-cycle payroll needs
• Review timecards and follow up with employees as needed
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations as well as recommended best practices 
• Responsible for ensuring data integrity in HRIS and making recommendations on how to optimize the system and enhance productivity within the system 
• Utilize HRIS to onboard all new hires, including processing I9s, while ensuring regulatory and SOX compliance
• Create a system for developing SOPs  and document best practice HR processes to help drive standardization and efficiency for payroll procedures
• Responsible for processing LOA requests in HRIS and overseeing the qualifying life event process to allow qualifying employees to enroll in benefits off-cycle
• Help answer employee questions related to, timecards, payroll, or benefits enrollment
• Assist in the system setup for benefits administration in preparation for annual open enrollment period 
• Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
• 4-6 years of experience administering payroll in a HRIS in a medium to large size multi-state company, supporting exempt and non-exempt team members
• Experience at a public company required; Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a strong plus 
• Strong project management skills, organizational skills, and high attention to detail
• Ability to execute operational excellence initiatives
• Understanding, empathetic and relatable

Pay Range

• At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $70,000 and $90,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
