What You'll Do

  • Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that support Complex Shop Tier 1 campaigns and grow the marketplace across Complex's key categories
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market marketing plans
  • Be the marketing representative across key functions of the business
  • Collaborating with department heads to own an integrated marketing calendar
  • Ability to project manage own workload and team's workload
  • Be able to balance several priorities and projects at one time
  • Guide creative direction for content, advertising and public-facing communications 
  • Advance and maintain brand positioning, identifying and building plans for target audiences 
  • Execute multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle 
  • Gather insights to inform outreach strategies, enhance conversions 
  • Track and analyze current marketing initiatives, optimizing as needed 
  • Present ideas and deliverables to internal and external teams 
  • Work closely with the Growth team for synergy in approach and to maximize return on marketing investments 
  • Continuously explore and recommend new marketing channels and tactics to reach new audiences and grow key categories 

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing
  • Proven track record of developing and scaling a multi-category marketplace or e-commerce business
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills 
  • Proficiency with project management tools, such as Airtable 
  • Social media strategy 
  • Multi-channel content strategy

  • Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or appropriate experience in a related field 
  • Deck and presentation development  
  • Willingness to travel, and flexibility to attend industry related events and activations on evenings or weekends as appropriate for the function
