About the role:
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Django/Python and have strong front-end development experience-whether with React or another modern framework. Bonus points if you are comfortable in the world of CSS.
What you'll do:

  • Design and develop robust and scalable web applications using Python, Django, and other relevant technologies.
  • Build comprehensive, high-quality technical solutions, ensuring top-level performance and responsiveness.
  • Keep fraud, hacking and security top-of-mind, with a sense of caution about moving money.
  • Tackle complex financial challenges and develop innovative solutions
  • Take ownership of your work and see your contributions make a real difference.
  • Fix existing bugs on a case-by-case basis.
  • Participate in daily standups and brainstorming sessions to figure out technical solutions to achieve the goals set by the management.


Requirements
What you bring to the team:

  • Proficiency in Python and Django framework.
  • Knowledge of Django REST Framework for building APIs and RESTful API design principles.
  • Understanding of Django's ORM for database interaction.
  • Practical experience with version control.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and functional code. Those with a passion for test coverage move to the front of the line.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Enjoy working on a small team with a big impact.


Bonus Points:

  • Strong understanding of React core concepts (components, state, props, hooks).
  • Experience with popular React libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router).
  • Proficiency with CSS

The base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $165,000 annually, plus additional compensation and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the U.S. for the posted position. A candidate's specific pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills, relevant education, training, experience, certifications, and abilities, as well as other factors unique to each candidate.
