We are a rapidly expanding team based in New York. We were founded in May 2019 and raised our Series C funding in November 2022. Our top investors include J.P. Morgan, PayPal Ventures, Fin Capital, Centana, and Bain Capital. We're growing customers and revenue dramatically and we’re poised for continued break-out growth in 2023 and beyond.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Define the overall content strategy aligned with Thoropass’s brand and business goals.
  • Create content roadmaps that address key buyer personas rather than just focusing on SEO metrics.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a network of agencies and freelance talent.
  • Work closely with product marketing, design, and subject matter experts to produce content that resonates.

Content Execution & Management:

  • Oversee the production of high-quality articles, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and other formats.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all channels.

Performance & Optimization:

  • Analyze content performance data to continually refine strategy and maximize engagement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and adjust tactics to maintain a competitive edge.

Cross-Functional Partnership:

  • Collaborate with broader marketing teams to ensure content initiatives support overall demand generation and branding efforts.

What You Need to Excel

  • Proven Expertise: 5+ years of experience developing content that resonates with senior technical leaders in a B2B SaaS environment. Exceptional writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail. Hands-on experience with content platforms, including SEO, CMS, and AI tools. 
  • Strategic & Tactical Agility: A track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive engagement and conversion. Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage diverse creative teams.
  • Analytical & Results-Driven: Strong command over data-driven content performance metrics, and an ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Persona-Focused Mindset: Adept at writing for defined personas in a technical space, ensuring that content speaks to real challenges and aspirations—not just optimized for search engines.
  • Project Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines seamlessly.

Compensation:

  • The salary range for this position is  $110-$130k base compensation with bonus opportunity and will be based on experience and skill set
