Job Summary: 

Clarus is seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist who will play a critical role in driving the productivity and effectiveness of our internal and partner sales teams. You will own the development of enablement strategies, sales playbooks, onboarding materials, content, and training programs to ensure our sales team (including partner enablement teams) is equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resources to drive revenue and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a highly motivated, collaborative self-starter who thrives in a startup environment and has a deep understanding of CRM capabilities, customer journey mapping, and building automation to support sales, onboarding, and implementation.

As part of a small GTM team, you’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Executive Leadership to design and implement enablement strategies that empower both internal and partner sales teams to succeed. While you won’t have direct reports initially, this role has the potential to evolve into a leadership position as our company scales.

Job Location: Remote - East Coast Preferred

Main Responsibilities:   

Enablement Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales enablement strategy aligned with business goals to drive revenue growth and improve sales productivity.

  • Build and maintain sales playbooks, sales collateral, and customer-facing materials that support the buyer’s journey and improve close rates.

  • Create and manage content libraries and ensure the sales team has easy access to up-to-date resources, including pitch decks, case studies, and competitive battle cards.

  • Continuously iterate and improve on existing enablement materials to ensure ongoing relevance and impact.

Onboarding and Training:

  • Design and lead onboarding programs for new sales hires, including training on product knowledge, sales processes, CRM systems, and customer engagement strategies.

  • Collaborate with Customer Success to streamline the handoff process between Sales and Implementation, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

  • Identify skill gaps across sales teams and develop targeted training or enablement resources to drive improved performance.

  • Facilitate ongoing training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to keep the team informed and engaged.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with Product Marketing to develop clear, compelling messaging and positioning for all products.

  • Work with Product and Customer Success teams to ensure consistent and accurate communication of product features, benefits, and value propositions.

  • Collaborate with partner enablement teams to create co-branded materials, training programs, and content to drive partner sales success.

  • Engage with the C-Suite and GTM leadership to ensure enablement strategies are aligned with overarching company objectives.

Sales Process and CRM Optimization:

  • Optimize CRM workflows and capabilities to drive efficiency in the sales process.

  • Build and implement automated resources for sales teams, including templates, email sequences, call scripts, and objection-handling guides.

  • Identify gaps in the sales funnel and collaborate with Marketing and Sales to optimize conversion rates and customer engagement.

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of enablement initiatives through defined KPIs.

Basic Qualifications:   

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, Customer Success Enablement, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of the veterinary industry or healthcare space (preferred).

  • Experience building sales playbooks, training content, and onboarding materials.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.

  • Deep knowledge of CRM systems, customer journeys, and sales automation tools.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, execute, and scale enablement programs.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and content development skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.

  • Associate’s degree or relevant work experience.

Other:

  • 25% travel required

  • Must have valid driver’s license from state of residency

  • Must have and maintain vehicle, Insurance on transportation used for travel.
