About The Job
Dudek is looking for a dynamic marketer who is interested in joining an employee-owned company focused on shaping sustainable natural and urban environments. Our ideal proposal coordinator has strong proposal writing and communication skills, knowledge of AEC industry, and an entrepreneurial spirit. This position focuses on coordinating and writing proposals.
Dudek’s marketing team is a streamlined group that supports our project managers to develop new work and market clients with our diverse service offerings. Our Proposal Coordinators work closely with each other, project managers, and technical specialists to develop strong content for proposals and other marketing communications, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below): 
As a proposal coordinator, you will be:

  • Leading and coordinating the RFP process, writing content, developing and maintaining proposal schedule, and delivering completed proposals to clients before the specified deadline
  • Evaluating content in proposals to make sure it satisfies all RFP requirements and company brand standards
  • Conducting post-submission close out of proposals
  • Working with creative team to create figures/graphics to support proposal and presentation content
  • Supporting client interview preparation
  • Collaborating virtually with teams across Dudek

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Journalism, English, related field, or relevant experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in proposal writing and coordination

* As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre - employment drug test and background check.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, Deltek Vantagepoint, and online meeting tools
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple proposals and deadlines at once
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet all deadlines
  • AEC industry experience

Physical Requirements
Working Conditions:

  • This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.
  • This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.

  • This job requires working on a computer, sitting or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting.
  • This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc. Speaking, hearing and listening are required.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Outdoor activity may involve walking/trekking in uneven terrain over long distances in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Proposed Salary Range: $29.93 - $36.58 per hour*
*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
