Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Project Manager III in Los Angeles, CA.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:
  • Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,
  • Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,
  • Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
  • Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
  • Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.
  • Manages other Project Managers.

Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have experience managing facilities design, or planning, and coordination of capital projects that include overall design. 
  • Oversee the building design process,  contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling through the interaction with Architects and consultants.
  • Design Management experience for oversight of client's standards and guidelines.
  • Manage multiple projects for modernization or new construction.
  • Familiar with the project lifecycle; from concept to close-out.
  • provide the Team with directions in regard to goals and objectives, standards, site, schedule, and budget for each project assigned.
  • Review design changes to ensure budget is not affected.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 4 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • California School experience (DSA).
  • 10 years of experience is desired.
  • Experience with public agencies.
  • Assist client with RFP process and selection of design professionals.
  • Establish and follow an effective and efficient design review process.
  • Preferred Licenses: Valid Certificate as an Architect or Professional Engineer
