The Production Manager is responsible for managing the entire series in all phases of production - from pre-production to post production. This includes managing and supporting all creative and production crew. This role ensures the series meets all target dates and budgets, working closely with the Line Producer, Studio execs, and Partner Studios.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with studio and show leadership to create and manage the production pipeline.
  • Maintain and guide series schedule, assuring that creative and production crew are aware of assignments and target dates.
  • Manage day to day operations of the series - including Script, Visual Development, Storyboards, and Editorial departments.
  • Support Series Department Heads in facilitating each department’s creative and technical needs.
  • Maintain organization of server files and innovate structure as necessary.
  • Conduct daily and weekly reports to Line Producer and Series Execs.
  • Ensure crew timecards are filled out and submitted for approval weekly.
  • Manage and provide solutions for all series production deadlines.
  • Apply knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Shotgrid, Flix, Adobe Suite, Storyboard Pro, Google Ecosystem, etc for overall production tracking.
  • Facilitate workflow throughout series production while remaining flexible to structural and creative changes.
  • Work with external departments to facilitate travel, office solutions, and overall production needs.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of backend and frontend production pipelines.
  • Previous dynamic experience in a production role in CG animation.
  • Previous experience working with a production team of 30-40 employees.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and diligent with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proactive and resourceful in seeking solutions and managing a team.
  • Able to work independently and set appropriate priorities. 
  • Take direction and feedback when needed and also take the initiative where applicable. 
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain a high level of discretion. 
  • Driven, innovative, strategic and solution focused.
  • Ability to communicate in a constructive, patient, and proactive manner.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance various priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Computer and technology literate – familiarity with Mac/PC operating systems, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Google Ecosystem. 

The anticipated base salary for this position is $100,000.00 to $112,500.00. This role may also qualify for incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
