Product Marketing Manager – AI  

 

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and messaging for AI across our identity security solutions. In this role, you will help shape how SailPoint communicate AI’s impact on identity security to the market. 

 

As a strategic product marketer, you will help define thought leadership initiatives, messaging frameworks, and GTM strategies to position SailPoint at the forefront of AI-driven identity security. You will collaborate closely with product management, marketing, sales, and leadership to craft compelling narratives, develop content strategies, and execute high-impact GTM programs that elevate SailPoint’s AI story in identity security.  To be successful in this role you must have experience and success in driving product marketing for other enterprise-level AI solutionsIn addition, you will need to possess strong storytelling, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead AI Messaging & Positioning: Define and refine the AI narrative for identity security, articulating how our solutions leverage AI to enhance security, automate governance, and mitigate risk. 

  • Develop GTM Strategies: Build and execute comprehensive GTM plans that educate the market, enable sales, and drive awareness of AI-powered innovations across our identity security solutions. 

  • Drive Thought Leadership: Establish our company as a leader in AI-driven identity security through executive content, blogs, whitepapers, speaking engagements, and industry events. 

  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Analyze industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs to inform strategic messaging and market differentiation. 

  • Sales & Field Enablement: Create compelling messaging frameworks, sales decks, and training programs to equip internal teams with a clear and differentiated AI story. 

  • Measure & Optimize Impact: Define success metrics for messaging and GTM initiatives, track performance, and refine strategies for maximum impact. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, GTM strategy, or thought leadership, preferably within AI, cybersecurity, identity security, or enterprise SaaS. 

  • Understanding of AI applications in security and governance, including machine learning, automation, and risk-based decision making. 

  • Track record of leading GTM strategies and messaging for AI-powered solutions. 

  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with experience presenting to executives, sales, and external stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product management, marketing, sales, and field teams to drive market alignment and execution. 

  • Experience in developing thought leadership content that influences industry conversations and establishes brand authority. 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving market landscape with the ability to adapt and refine messaging as identity security advances. 

 

Education: 

  • MBA or equivalent preferred; BA/BS required 

Travel: 

  • This position may involve approximately 10- 20% travel

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$94,080 - $134,400 - $174,720

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
