Job Description

The Product Manager has an entrepreneurial mindset and is a goal achiever who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering innovative solutions to enrich the lives of our residents. The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our rental management system, takes ownership of key initiatives and inspires excellence in everything we do to enrich the lives of our residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein.  Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.

  • Gather and document business and functional requirements, including creating process flowcharts and diagrams.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements, address business needs, and design solutions that enhance user experiences.

  • Assess and document current processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement through detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Lead the prioritization, estimation, and implementation of user stories, ensuring timely updates to stakeholders.

  • Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and troubleshoot system issues, providing resolutions.

  • Analyze and report on trends, insights, and data to support decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, SOPs, FAQs, workflow diagrams, and training materials; deliver training sessions to internal and external users.

  • Draft and distribute release notes following product launches or updates.

  • Act as the main point of contact for third-party developers, managing timelines and addressing queries.

  • Write SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and testing purposes.

  • Conduct user research and interviews to gather insights and refine product requirements.

  • Understand data and APIs well enough to participate in and guide discussions with developers and other PMs for projects involving data and system integrations.

  • Understand and communicate the impact of design decisions on business outcomes and user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Exposure to custom systems and agile development methodology.

  • Highly organized with great attention to detail.

  • Proven experience in gathering requirements and testing.

  • Intermediate experience writing and reading SQL database queries.

  • Experienced and knowledgeable with relational database design and navigation.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think logically and strategically.

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Motivated and proactive in setting up meetings and getting the answers needed.

  • Technically savvy with an understanding of how software works and specifically how the product functions.

  • Passionate about documentation and workflow diagrams.

  • Strong technical knowledge

  • Good understanding of project and time management principles

  • Passionate about technology and creating business efficiencies

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS or combination of industry certifications and equivalent related work experience of 5 years or more

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.

$77,560.00 - $155,120.00
