Otter provides infrastructure and software that enables food operators to open delivery-only locations with minimal capital expenditure and time. We’re taking restaurants to a whole new place. Where seamless delivery is prioritized, costs are minimized, and profits are maximized for anyone involved in the food industry–from entrepreneurs, and independent operators, to established restaurant chains.

Our software assists our customers in all stages of their food business, from onboarding via a turn-key solution to our ghost kitchens to managing their delivery services and business all in one platform. We are building technology that gives superpowers to digital restaurants to empower them so they can focus on what they do best: serving their customers.

What you’ll do

  • You will drive the roadmap and strategic direction for our Otter POS Team, which is developing our in house point of sale system and disrupting a 100+ year old industry .
  • You will build products that are the beating heart of the brick-and-mortar restaurant operations.
  • You will develop a full understanding of the order life cycle, the interactions required by front-of-house staff, and the opportunities for improvement. 
  • You will partner with our data platform and data science teams to deliver financially accurate reporting, real-time analytics and insights to operators to drive meaningful impact to their business.
  • You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure that you drive innovative value to our customers in a rapidly evolving restaurant industry.

What we’re looking for

  • You have 5+ years of experience in product management or relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Design, Marketing or related field
  • Restaurant technology or POS(Point of Sale) experience is a plus
  • You have experience owning products throughout their entire lifecycle, from inception to development, scale and sustaining
  • You have experience working alongside engineering and design teams to create, develop and maintain durable products that satisfy customer needs
  • Experience with product road mapping and go-to-market planning - with strong leadership and execution skills.
  • Data driven decision making with experience in SQL
