About the Job:

Reporting directly to the Director of Operations Manager for Latin America, this role will support Restaurant Excellence, Field Operations and Training execution for Taco Bell in Latin America and the Caribbean.  The Operations Leader will be accountable for implementing operating programs, driving results, enabling business growth through strengthened field franchise capability and engaging the franchisee community with strategic initiatives that drive our commercial revenues and deliver our future back vision of world class operations.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Work closely with all Franchisee Directors of Operations to build organizational capability and to ensure that these franchisees are Taco Bell brand builders.
  • Support Area Coach capability building thru coach-the-coach methodology.
  • Liaise with all cross-functional franchise leaders on specific tactical execution of Taco Bell initiatives with primary contact with directors of operations and Area Coaches.
  • Take ownership & leadership of all customer programs and processes (VOC, CORE program, Food Safety, Training execution & BOH improvements). Train on TB specific programs and platforms, not only how to use but how to interpret data and leverage insights to continually drive results.
  • Support, at times lead and provide hands on training to franchisee leaders to enable growth.
  • Support all Operations/Restaurants pilots (Ops and Systems) to develop “field ready” regional initiatives in an efficient and effective way.
  • Partner with Training (Regional and International) in support of developing training materials from design to field execution.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Operations, working closely with entire cross functional teams and learning and sharing best practices from TB US, international and sister brands to share know-how.
  • New Market entry Franchise Ops and training team’s onboarding, build capability and provide training support for new operators from managerial leadership positions to core team members. Support new market entry prior to, during and post opening.
  • Partner as needed with development team to review kitchen layouts for new builds and renovations to ensure the layouts are compliant with adequate capacity, food and health safety standards.
  • Support the Marketing Calendar and projects to enable sales, unit growth and margin improvement to support the business model.

Is This You?

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 7+ years within restaurant operations roles, including restaurant management/Multi-Unit management role, preferably in a Franchisor-Franchisee environment, is required to be successful in this role
  • Bilingual Skills – Spanish and English fluency, both written and spoken is essential to this role
  • People-First Mindset; Taking People with You style of leadership 
  • Excellent analytical & problem resolution skills
  • Effective organizational skills and time management skills; balance multiple priorities successfully
  • Ability to impact & influence stakeholders - have productive conflict at a high level to drive desired outcomes. Confidence and presence to interact with franchisees
  • Ability to travel; overnight stays and consecutive days away resulting in a high percentage of travel time.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Salary Range: ­­$118,600 to $139,400 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
