About the Role:

As a Resident Manager on the Next-Gen SIEM Professional Services team, you will lead a team of resident consultants who are dedicated resources for large customer engagements. You will spearhead key efforts and become a trusted advisor to internal CrowdStrike stakeholders and customers. You will have responsibility for building and growing a team focused on providing delivery of all aspects of Next-Gen SIEM implementations from pre-sales scoping discussions to initial customer engagement, planning, installation, optimization/utility and follow-on customer support for Next-Gen SIEM.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and grow a team that helps customers operationalize and support Next-Gen SIEM.

  • Work with the professional services leadership team to build and enhance the organization, expand programs, increase efficiencies, and create a world-class, customer-focused offering.

  • Work cross functionally with CrowdStrike teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes.

  • Manage and mentor team members to help expand skill sets and maximize performance.

  • Anticipate customer needs for Next-Gen SIEM by staying aware of new CrowdStrike technologies.

  • Manage customer projects both directly and as a project leadership role.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with customer information technology teams.

  • Work closely and collaboratively with the internal Next-Gen SIEM cross functional teams to develop customer facing collateral.

  • Lead skills workshops for the Platform Operations team.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

What You'll Need:

  • 8+ years of experience working with log management/SIEM solutions (Falcon LogScale, Splunk, QRadar, Arcsight, LogRhythm, Exabeam Data Lake, etc) in a professional services or similar capacity.

  • Strong understanding of employee management concepts with the demonstrated ability to lead teams.

  • Prior management experience (3+ years) of small to medium-sized teams within software deployment projects and/or field engineering or consulting organizations.

  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies including new service offerings and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.

  • Experience working with pre-sales teams on technical scoping and requirements gathering, and with post-sales handoffs.

  • Knowledge of SIEM skills and best practices related to log analysis, data onboarding, parsers, search queries, dashboards, and alerts.

  • Experience managing technical deployments, tracking time, and running projects from kickoff to closure.

  • Applied knowledge of infrastructure services and applications hosted in AWS, GCP, and Azure and traditional on-prem IT environments, such as directory services, database servers, containerization, authentication providers, networking and data storage.

  • Experience developing documentation and transferring knowledge of deployments to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Experience translating your knowledge of customer requirements and experiences into feedback for product and engineering teams.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Occasional travel may be required (<25%).

Bonus Points:

  • Information Technology community participation (conference speaker, script contributor) is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of distributed applications hosted in AWS, GCP, and Azure.

  • Experience and skills in Linux, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Kafka.

  • Automation experience building scripts in Bash, Python, or other programming languages.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to equal pay for equal work in its compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $110,000 - $190,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location.
