Join Brown-Forman as the Market Manager On and Off Premise for Tennessee! Lead and innovate in this exciting market, driving brand success through strategic initiatives, impactful relationships, and flawless execution.

What You Can Expect

  • Leadership: Lead the On and off Premise channels in the Tennessee market to understand, develop, and implement key customer initiatives for the entire Brown-Forman portfolio. Lead appropriate programming across both the on and off premise channels, allocating resources appropriately. Establish positive customer rapport at all levels in all assigned accounts. Champion efforts to win at the point of purchase across multiple accounts.

  • Create Impact: Design, develop, and implement key customer-focused win-win initiatives that enhance Brown-Forman and customer profitability. Conduct business performance reviews in accordance with achieving customer plans. Provide annual customer overview for brand teams.

  • Build Relationships: Establish and nurture positive customer rapport at all levels across assigned territory. Partner with Brown-Forman National/Regional distributor account team to ensure distributor execution of Independent and Chain programs. Partner with Marketing Managers to drive commercial excellence in programming.

  • Drive Success: Work to encompass the development of brand-building plans that are successfully executed in collaboration with the distributor/broker in assigned territories.

  • Win at Point of Purchase: Champion the on and off Premise efforts at the point of purchase, ensuring superior distributor execution of brand initiatives.

  • Connect: Engage with and influence key external contacts, including distributor partners, retailers, consumers, and agencies.

Planning & Analysis

  • Strategize: Lead on and off premise teams to gather local market feedback for specific brand plans, setting clear objectives and priorities.

  • Agility: Coordinate communication of plan adjustments based on market performance and success.

  • Manage Budgets: Manage budget responsibilities to drive financial success.

Distributor & Agency Management

  • Activate Programs: Develop and ensure the proper activation of all on and off premise programs.

  • Lead Initiatives: Oversee the execution of on and off premise pull programming and all branded initiatives.

  • Implement Plans: Execute the Brown-Forman business plan with the on and off premise team, holding them accountable for results.

  • Manage Agencies: Oversee third-party promotion agencies for on and off premise, ensuring alignment with Brown-Forman business and brand plans.

  • Be the Key Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact with key on and off premise account groups, covering the entire Brown-Forman portfolio of brands.

What Makes You Unique

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the beverage alcohol and/or beverage industry with a proven track record of meeting key metrics and a strong, consistent presence in the market with key accounts and customers.

  • Coaching: Strong coaching and sales training skills.

  • Partnership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, while actively seeking opportunities to collaborate with leaders across various channels, functions, and geographies.

  • Enterprise Mindset: Able to prioritize the overall Brown-Forman business needs above specific territory or team needs.

  • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as required, with a valid state driver’s license and the capability to lift 60 pounds. Systems Proficiency i.e. Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and/or other business operations software.
