Job Description Summary 

The Manager, Software Development is responsible for managing all aspects of the development lifecycle of software products.

  • Provides technical leadership and guidance to the organization.
  • Plans, coordinates and manages all the actions of the development team.
  • Ensures appropriate procedures and processes are followed in development and deployment of products.
  • Sets attainable goals with team members and maximizes productivity.
  • Act as liaison between the department and senior leadership.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to team members and helps clear hurdles to increase productivity and maximize performance.
  • Sets accurate time estimates for work from the team
  • Work closely with the higher Leadership, Technical Lead, Business Analysts, Scrum Master, and others to identify tasks and schedules to meet project deadlines.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role has supervisory responsibilities of a development team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or computer related field.
  • 10+ years of development experience with involvement in various phases of software lifecycle.
  • 5+ years of experience as Sr./Lead developer developing applications using Microsoft tech Stack (C#.NET, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, MVC).
  • 5+ years of experience of developing and consuming SOAP/REST based Web Services.
  • 3+ years of experience developing applications using Database and SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented Database and Git version control.
  • Experience with Agile Development methodology using Scrum.
  • Experience working in a CI/CD environment and designing pipeline.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in Front End Development.
  • Experience with Workday API’s and building integration using Workday Studio.
  • Development experience in Salesforce using APEX, SOQL, Visual Force, Process Builders, Workflows, and custom lighting components.
  • Salesforce Certification.
