Rye is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our fast-growing team. As our first Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you’ll be crafting thoughtful and personalized lifecycle campaigns and customer journeys for specific audience personas, leveraging data and research to help improve our conversion rates across the funnel.
We’re looking for a growth-oriented problem solver with a proven track record of driving acquisition, engagement and retention across a category who has hands-on experience with email as a channel. We’re building something incredibly exciting that no one has before, and we need a Lifecycle Marketing Manager who will help establish us in the marketplace and bring that same level of enthusiasm to every touchpoint they produce for a user as they move down our funnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, build and execute high-impact lifecycle marketing journeys and one-off email campaigns

  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics & Design teams to optimize and refine email and in-app touchpoints on a continual basis in order to drive incremental impact

  • Systematically A/B test and execute against a roadmap that improves customer awareness, conversion and retention, as well as additional metrics across the Rye funnel

  • Consistently measure and report campaign performance & learnings

  • Own our CRM & various other adjacent systems & software, consistently demonstrating a mastery of how they’re integrated and function to serve each other (e.g. Customer.io & Salesforce)

  • Create brand-consistent and premium experiences across the user journey and maintain a high bar for marketing creative and copy

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of marketing experience, 2+ years in lifecycle marketing, startup or agency experience a plus

  • Experience building email & communications programs through CRM and/or marketing automation systems in tandem with Salesforce (Customer.io, Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot or similar platform), HTML & Figma a plus

  • Experience automating processes and translating results with a data-driven, analytical lens

  • Experience building in a scrappy, fast-paced environment

  • Strong writer & communicator
