Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and execute key human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll administration, and office operations. The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of HR experience with a strong background in the entertainment industry, including entertainment payroll processes and talent acquisition. Strong industry connections and experience working with labor unions are a plus.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract top professionals in the entertainment industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with talent agencies to secure top talent.
  • Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Maintain a strong talent pipeline to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor, addressing employee concerns and ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Promote open communication, inclusion, and company culture to enhance employee engagement.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, workplace disputes, and conflict resolution.
  • Assist managers in performance evaluations, goal-setting, and career development initiatives.
  • Identify training and development needs and implement relevant programs.
  • Support leadership in fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.
  • Manage entertainment payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with multi-state regulations.
  • Work closely with finance and accounting to facilitate timely payroll processing.
  • Stay updated on employment laws, labor unions, and collective bargaining agreements in the entertainment sector.
  • Ensure compliance with HR regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Oversee day-to-day office management, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintain office policies, facilities, vendor relationships, and technology infrastructure.
  • Organize team events, meetings, and workplace initiatives to foster collaboration and engagement.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on the entertainment industry.
  • Deep understanding of entertainment payroll processes across multiple states.
  • Proven expertise in full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and labor regulations.
  • Experience working with labor unions and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience leading diversity and inclusion initiatives is a plus.
