Role Description

We are looking for a Head of Solutions Marketing at Dropbox to lead our customer-focused team, reporting to the VP, Product Marketing. In this role, you will develop and execute the go-to-market storytelling around the problems we solve with our portfolio across storage, sync, universal search, and content governance. You will be an expert in understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable and compelling narratives across target audiences and successfully deploying materials with the campaigns and field teams

This key leadership role will work cross-functionally to drive Dropbox's positioning in the market, creating compelling narratives and go-to-market strategies for our diverse product portfolio. You will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure Dropbox solutions address customer pain points, ultimately driving product adoption and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy across our various customer segments, product lines and routes-to-market.
  • Customer Insights & Market Research: Partner with our Strategy and Insights team to conduct in-depth market research, including customer and competitive analysis, to identify trends and opportunities, informing product positioning and messaging.
  • Content & Messaging Development: Own the development of solution-focused messaging and positioning that resonates with specific buyer personas, creating collateral that supports sales enablement, campaign activation and value delivery.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Enablement and Customer Success teams to drive sales plays, campaigns, and enablement initiatives.
  • Field Enablement: Equip the sales team and channel with the necessary knowledge about markets, buyers, competition and its offerings, and the competition to effectively communicate the value of Dropbox solutions to customers and prospects.
  • Thought Leadership: Understand and create storytelling around the major trends motivating our customer segments to make a change. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, ensuring professional growth and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in solutions marketing, product marketing, or related fields, with significant leadership experience
  • Proven track record of building and executing successful go-to-market strategies for SaaS or enterprise software products
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of the B2B buying journey and how to create content that aligns to customer segmentation
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex solutions
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure and track the impact of marketing initiatives
  • Passion for SaaS, technology, and staying ahead of the latest trends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in SaaS productivity tools or related product categories, with a strong understanding of sales-assisted, channel, and product-led growth models
  • Experience in both building and scaling functions. 
  • Master’s degree/MBA
