You’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing campaigns across Google and Bing Ads, ensuring we’re scaling effectively while maintaining strong unit economics. A Day in the Life Could Include:

  • Owning the creation, execution, and day-to-day operations of Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns.

  • Managing budgets efficiently to optimize CAC, policy binds, and total premium.

  • Continuously refining keyword and negative keyword lists, bid strategies, audiences, and ad creative to maximize efficiency.

  • Analyzing campaign performance data to uncover actionable insights and refine strategies.

  • Collaborating with creative and product teams to test new copy, landing pages, and audience targeting approaches.

  • Staying ahead of SEM trends, platform updates, and customer acquisition best practices.

  • Conducting competitive and market analysis to identify new opportunities.

I’ve Got the Skills… But Do I Have the Necessary Ones?

  • 5+ years of experience managing Google and Bing Ads accounts with $10M+ annual budgets.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).

  • Google Ads Certified, with a deep understanding of SEM best practices.

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using Google Sheets/Excel and data reporting tools like Looker or Tableau.

  • Experience with A/B testing and statistical significance in ad performance measurement.

  • Familiarity with other digital ad platforms (Meta, Display, YouTube, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills—comfortable working cross-functionally.

  • Detail-oriented with a passion for testing, learning, and optimizing.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in fintech or insurtech industries.

  • Startup experience or comfort working in fast-moving environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager.

Oh, and don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

We offer a comprehensive benefits program, allowing you to choose the benefits that are best for you and your family including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Disability Insurance options, an Employee Assistance Program, as well as elective voluntary benefits such as accident insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness, legal assistance and pet insurance.

  • In addition to these benefits, we also are excited to offer the following:

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
