Ardent is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to join our team.  

This is a Remote position.

Position Description:

Ardent is looking for a talented GIS Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, along with at least 3 years of experience in GIS.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide technical expertise in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
  • Create and maintain GIS database products to support various projects.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and provide end-user support for GIS applications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on data, workflows, and processes.
  • Conduct testing of GIS applications to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on data, processes, and workflows.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in GIS.
  • Strong technical skills in GIS software and applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration and end-user support.
