The Manager of G/FORE Wholesale Analytics is a pivotal role that will support our wholesale sales organization. This highly collaborative position is responsible for guiding the development and execution of analytical strategies to support a greater understanding of commercial trends across wholesale distribution channels and accounts. The position will research, design, and develop analytical capabilities that surface areas of opportunity within the go-to-market process and monitor in-season selling trends closely to ensure selling strategies are closely monitored. The ideal candidate will analyze sales data, generate insights, and provide strategic recommendations to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency while partnering with sales leadership and sales team(s). This role will work closely with the sales, marketing, merchandising, inventory planning and supply chain teams to support our wholesale business and operations.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Analyze in-season sales data across our Golf, Specialty, and Large Specialty channels to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for significant growth.
  • Work with each wholesale commercial lead on tracking sales and sales targets by rep, and reporting structure and cadence.
  • Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards to give the sales team and senior management actionable insights.
  • Partner with the sales, merchandising and planning teams to develop and set sales performance targets.
  • In partnership with planning, monitor inventory levels for the wholesale channels; partner with sales representatives and the planning organization to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Evaluate the performance of new and existing products and provide data and feedback to key stakeholders for product assortment and pricing strategies. Take direction from commercial leads and merchandising on key programs to monitor and funnel insights back to those respective teams.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for sales meetings, buyer meetings, and executive reviews.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and dedicated support for special projects as needed, ensuring your unique skills are recognized and utilized.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form
  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Skilled in PowerBI or other similar data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills; inspire and work in a highly collaborative manner with a cross-functional group to ensure a unified direction and shared vision
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

 

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in finance, consulting, strategy, or analytics role, preferably with companies in the following industries: apparel, fashion, consumer packaged goods, or wholesale/retail distribution
