The annual base salary for this position ranges from $122,000.00 in our lowest geographic market to $288,500.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH 

On a day-to-day basis you will be working with a wide range of internal partners including Footwear and Apparel Designers, Developers, and Product Line Managers. You will be working collaboratively with multiple teams to deliver creative solutions in line with the NikeSKIMS Design Ethos. This opportunity will require strong collaborative skills to meet timelines, ensure feasibility of designs, while building consensus around your work and thinking.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR  

The ideal candidate will be a highly creative problem solver who brings engagement and curiosity to work across multiple platforms and variety of product types.  This person will be focused on elevating the consumer experience by delivering creative solutions across a wide range of products and consumer types, while driving an emotional connection to the Nike Brand through rich and compelling narratives.

This role requires passion and creativity, along with versatility and focus to see designs through the product creation process. This designer is a dedicated team player that knows how to collaborate, receive feedback, and manage multiple projects at any given time. This designer can also translate complex insights into authentic narratives and create compelling solutions that will help define the future of NikeSKIMS Accessories.

  • Bachelor’s degree in product design or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training
  • 8+ years or more of accessory or product design experience at agency or in-house setting,
  • Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends and visual culture
  • Ability to translate insights into authentic narratives and visual storytelling
  • Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple, competing priorities
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills, able to effectively present design intent to internal and external audiences
  • Drawing, sketching 2D and 3D capability or ability to learn
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Email and Outlook
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Highlight and elevate diverse points of view while fostering an environment of inclusivity
  • Passion for the fashion industry, the aesthetic and understanding of the landscape
  • Passion for design, strategic thinking, and curiosity

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON 

Concepting, sketching, and presenting groundbreaking innovative design. You will collaborate across functional teams to deliver your ideas to physical products. This could include working with your development and business partners, along with Athletes*, down to the smallest details from choosing trims and print applications to creating presentations to be communicated to broader audiences both internally and externally. You will use your skills to contribute to and create narratives and visuals across a variety of products. You will be challenged by a wide range of responsibilities and experiences.
