About the Position:
The Editor, Evergreen will report into the Allrecipes Editorial Director, Evergreen and work closely with our Editor and Associate Editor to assign, edit, update, and create non-recipe and recipe content for Allrecipes.com to drive traffic, scale, and search performance. The Editor will be responsible for pitching, assigning, writing, and/or editing evergreen non-recipe content as well as working on recipe content, including recipe introductions and recipe optimization across various distribution channels.
In-office Expectations: This position is fully remote with no in-office requirements, (might require coming into an office 1 or 2x a year)
About the Positions Contributions:

Pitching, writing, assigning, and/or editing evergreen non-recipe and recipe content

Managing updates to existing non-recipe content and recipe longform intros, including liaising with the Quality Team when needed

Conducting research to optimize and distribute recipes across appropriate channels, such as Apple News

Training contractors and team members on SEO writing best practices, acting as a point of contact for the team

Collaborate with video, social, browser, and newsletter teams as needed
The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

3-5 years digital editing and writing experience, preferably in a food category

Strong writing and editing skills

Strong communication skills

Strong SEO skills and depth of knowledge

Experience in food category, preferably in the recipe space

Excellent time management skills
